Second Time Around Store - Community Helping Community

The Treasure Trunk is an amazing second hand store where everyone will find something they love.  The Treasure Trunk helps out many community members going through tough times.  The Treasure Trunk also offers employment and employment support training to people with intellectual disabilities.  The Treasure Trunk offers summer employment to students and of course we can always use the generous hand of a volunteer. 

Join our Team of Volunteers!

The Treasure Trunk supports the community in many ways:

  • Support to the Heritage Festival
  • Donations to local schools
  • Collaborate with other local agencies to provide clothing and other household items to people in need
  • Assistance to local food bank
  • Support the Alzheimer’s society
  • Kids swim program
  • Collaborates with other social services and businesses



Volunteers

We have the BEST volunteers in town who help us run the store on a daily basis. The Treasure Trunk could not operate as smoothly as it does without our volunteers.
